As mentioned before, Thailand does not offer a visa-free experience, so you will need to obtain a Thai visa. This can be done in person at a Thai embassy or through our partner Get A Visa online.

There are two types of visas in Thailand: the Tourist Visa and the Work Visa. A Tourist Visa allows you to stay for up to six months and allows you to enter and leave Thailand without restriction.

The Work Visa is more complicated and requires you to apply well in advance at an immigration office. Both visas allow entry into Thailand for up to 6 months, making it very flexible.

When applying for the Tourist or Work visas, you will need your passport photo and story, as well as your payslip or salary documentation to prove your work situation.

Pack light

While weightlessness is a dream for many, most of us can’t experience it for ourselves. For most of us, traveling to Thailand in your pack is the lightest thing you can do to prepare yourself for your trip.

For example, you’re planning a week-long stay in a hotel or apartment, with all of your supplies delivered to you. Or going with the assumption that you’re not going to be very healthy while there, and thus prepping for what you’ll need when you get there.

You’re also advised to bring a charger for every device you might have, plus some extra clothing and fun things to keep at your hotel room. For me, I also brought my favorite water purification system and some water filtration methods just in case!

These are all things I didn’t think about when I was preparing back home, but having them here will certainly help ensure I am as healthy as possible while traveling.

While most people know about thunder and lightning during summer in the northern part of Thailand, most people do not realize how often they see them during winter in southern Thailand.

This is due to the fact that they know when and if you’re going to be snowed in, because it’s winter!

As mentioned earlier, Thailand is rainy throughout the year, so be sure to learn about the weather when planning your trip. A good tip is to buy a travel insurance policy that includes weather as an included service. This will help prevent you from being stranded at a destination due to a bad storm or two.

Another tip is to learn about local meteorology. Some places have different conditions for weather due to location! In the worst case scenario, if you do not want to work as a prostitute but still want to travel to Thailand for sex, then it is recommended that you find another job nearby or move away from Bangkok because there may be more problems there.
